On behalf of the ESER Scientific Committee, we are delighted to welcome you to Budapest for the 
2026 ESER Annual Scientific Meeting.The two and a half days of the ESER meeting will focus on both emerging and essential topics in emergency radiology. The scientific programme will explore the expanding role of artificial intelligence and large language models in emergency reporting, imaging in poisoning and special patiens, and traumatic and non-traumatic abdominal emergencies. In addition,
a dedicated session will share firsthand experience in neuro emergencies.Interaction and practical learning are central to ESER 2026, with workshops, quiz sessions, and ample time for discussion. 
The international faculty reflects the global nature of ESER, with experts from the Americas, Asia, Australasia, and Europe.Budapest, known for its rich history, striking architecture, and vibrant cultural life, provides an outstanding setting for scientific exchange and networking. A carefully designed social programme will allow participants to experience the city beyond the congress venue.
